Mountains offers a high degree of flexibility for weddings either in the marquee or in the house reception rooms.  We are also able to create exactly the type of wedding you want and indeed we love to work on “out of the ordinary” weddings.  We are not a hotel and therefore not tied to any protocols!  You choose the time for your ceremony, when you have your wedding breakfast and indeed the style of catering.

A Marquee Wedding

This luxury marquee is available for weddings of all sizes from April to December inclusive. The flexible partitioning makes the internal space suitable for both smaller and larger parties of up to 250 people for a sit down wedding breakfast.

Intimate and Smaller Weddings

Smaller wedding receptions for up to 75 can be held in the main house. The oak panelled hallway is the perfect place for receiving guests before enjoying reception drinks in the Clarke Somers Room and attractive conservatory.There are ample rooms to accommodate the wedding breakfast, disco or live band and evening reception.  It is also possible to invite up to 150 for the evening reception to be held in the conservatory with dancing in the Clarke Somers room.  Both areas are close, thereby ensuring that your guests stay together which is an absolute prerequisite for a successful party!

Wedding Ceremony

A special unique feature at Mountains is its large gazebo where up to 120 guests can be seated in and around the licensed gazebo .Many couples are choosing to hold wedding ceremonies under the gazebo, alternatively you can marry in the Clarke Somers Room which holds up to 70 guests.
