Mountains Country House

Mountains Country House is a Grade 11 Listed Country House situated in 28 acres of historic parkland.  It offers a beautiful setting for weddings and receptions and by offering exclusive use, gives total privacy and seclusion to make your special day one to remember.

The large marquee situated in the grounds can accommodate up to 250 guests but by using flexible partitioning the internal space is suitable for both smaller and larger parties. The marquee is complete with a carpeted floor, wooden dance floor and chandelier lighting.

We can also offer the use of our new gazebo situated on the sun catching terrace for Wedding ceremonies which makes it the ideal overall venue for both your wedding ceremony and reception.   This was specially designed in oak to compliment the house and it is a stunning backdrop for photographs.

The large country house with its oak panelled hallway is the perfect place for receiving guests before enjoying pre-reception drinks in the Somers Clarke Room and the attractive conservatory and terrace.

We can offer a free wedding planning service along with guidance on caterers, entertainment, florists and photographers and all the essential components to ensure your wedding day is a memorable experience.
